- Are you looking for ways for your pupils to practise their speaking and listening skills with native Chinese speakers?
- Are you looking for opportunities to promote intercultural understanding?
- Does your school have aspirations to create exchange trips for your children with a school in China?
Why not look at the British Council’s new website ‘Schools Online’
Schools Online is a new website and is operated by the British Council and supersedes the Global Gateway, Connecting Schools and elearning sites. Schools using these website previously may continue to use their same login details on Schools online.
Once registered you can use the website to search for schools to partner with and start communicating with a proposed school directly. Once you have agreed to partner with a school the British Council will help to facilitate a formal link.
Schools online also has lots of useful advice about the kinds of activities you can engage in with you partner school and how these may develop. It also gives advice about arranging school exchange visit and grants that may be available to support such initiatives.
