About the NCLC
NCLC is dedicated to encouraging dialogue in the field of Chinese language education and ensuring wide-scale success. Last year, nearly 1,000 participants from across K–16 education came together to share best practices in technology, building high-quality programs, strengthening teacher development, encouraging sustainable partnerships, and more.
The Bay Area has a rich Chinese American history and plentiful/long-standing Chinese language programs.

The conference includes:
  • Technology and Innovation are changing the way our students learn language and engage in international collaboration.
  • A World-Class Education is preparing the next generation in the U.S. and China for an interconnected future.
  • Best Practices and New Directions are guiding quality instruction and enhancing student achievement.
  • Primary/Elementary, Secondary (K-12) and Higher Education can collaborate on articulation, teacher preparation, and research.
What the Chinese Staffroom think..... Last year in Washington DC, there were over 1200 Chinese teacher delegates. The Chinese Staffroom were there and it was a packed programme with a wide variety of subjects covered in Plenaries and workshops.

This is a Chinese teachers conference that practitioners worldwide can benefit from.
