Introducing Mandarin in your school: CILT Case Studies

The 1st case study is based on Avonbourne School, an all female 11-16 Business and Enterprise College in Bournemouth and how Mandarin has been introduced in language clubs and the steps taken to make it a success. Read the article HERE.
The 2nd case study is based on St Peter’s school, a Catholic comprehensive school located in Bournemouth. At St Peter’s Mandarin has been introduced as part of an enrichment programme with students being given the opportunity to study Mandarin voluntarily. The school has also established Mandarin lessons for the local community as part of the extended schools programme.
